PLAYOFF WEEKEND SEES MIGHTY DUCKS BOOKMARK HISTORIC SEASON...........
The Mighty Ducks showed why they were the favorite going into Playoff Weekend, sweeping both the Semi's and Finals on their way to capturing the On Ice CUP for the 2023 Spring Campaign. The Ducks proved to be too much to handle for the Huskies in the Finals dropping the decisive game 4-1. The Huskies; 4th place in Regular Season; surprised the heavily favored Sabres in the Semi-Finals, but couldn't finish the storybook ending. The Playoff weekend highlights didn't stop there, after going winless in the Regular Season, the Thunder found their game and grabbed 2 wins as they dropped a closely contested 1st Round Playoff match up with the heavily favored Steelhawks team. Sawyer Stewart was sensational in net allowing only 7 goals in 5 Playoff Games.
Season highlighted include an astounding 65 goals in 20 games for Hunter Salverde, followed closely by Ryker White with 49. Santana Quaglia was a rock in net posting 13 Shutouts on way to Playoff MVP Honours for the Ducks.
